Nintendo have revealed an upcoming Tomodachi Life game, and fans think it's going to include lesbian, queer and gay marriage/romance options. It combines elements from animal crossing, the sims, nintendo Mii, and hallucinogenic drugs. It is a very brief and very silly interaction, but considering it takes up almost half of the reveal trailer, it has been included with deliberate intentions.
It feeds into the unpredictable weirdness and a desire to be yourself no matter what that this game has always expressed, and what better way to do that than giving Miis the queer labels that match the real people they represent?
